Larissa Bailey

Current Focus: Among various duties, Larissa's main responsibility is to manage the activities, design, coordination, and operations of the Chamber's Government Relations Program in order to emphasize business and professional participation in the governmental process. She actively tracks legislation pertinent to the Chamber and its members, as well as maintains the organization's grassroots legislative website. Larissa manages the Government Relations Committee, along with five additional subcommittees, made up of Chamber members who are interested in staying connected and actively involved with governmental affairs.
Professional Background: Prior to joining the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and CREDC family, Larissa completed two major internships while enrolled at Messiah College. Larissa had the opportunity to study abroad in London, England during the spring of 2010. While there she interned for Justine Greening MP, focusing largely on constituent services and various London-based research initiatives. The summer prior to her semester abroad, Larissa was an intern in the Legislative Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Aging. The experience allowed her to gain insight as well as play an active role in the legislative process from a state agency perspective. During the last three years Larissa studied at Messiah, she served as the office/research assistant for both Messiah College's Politics Department and School of the Humanities.
Education: Larissa graduated from Messiah College in December 2010. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics with a concentration in International Relations.
