Meineke Car Care in Lancaster Purchases Building

Financing provided by M & T Bank and SBA 504 packaged through CREDC

HARRISBURG, PA (December 16, 2010) - The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC (HRC/CREDC) announced today that it packaged $179,124 in financing through the federal SBA 504 loan program which will allow Meineke Car Care to purchase the building which they currently operate.  The property is located at 1220 Manheim Pike, Lancaster, PA. 

Meineke Car Care in Lancaster is owned by Romeo and Susan Requena.  Mr. Requena started working at Meineke Muffler at a friend's shop in Lancaster. In 2004, his friends sold him the business and he and his wife began operations on their own.  They have built the business into a steady profitable business. They now employ two full-time certified mechanics and have established a strong reputation as a family-owned and operated business.  The SBA 504 loan along with financing from M&T Bank and equity contributions enabled the Requenas to purchase their existing building.

 The Chamber & CREDC is a certified lender for state programs and local packager of the SBA 504 program.
