The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC Helps S&R Enterprises Locate Headquarters

HARRISBURG (February 12, 2007)- The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC (HRC/CREDC) announced today that it provided financing to AMZ Unlimited, LLC to buy the property located at 7385 Allentown Blvd, West Hanover Township, Dauphin County. This company serves as the real estate holding company for S&R Enterprises, LLC that occupies this property.

S&R Enterprises, LLC was formed in 2003 and is owned and operated by Steve Burkholder. The company is a structural steel and precast concrete contracting company providing work for commercial, industrial, entertainment, and public works projects.

Examples of local projects on which S&R worked include:

  • Hershey Research Park
  • Hershey East Medical Campus
  • Milton S Hershey - Old Senior Hall Precast
  • Community General Osteopathic Hospital
  • Carlisle Regional Medical Center

A future local project will be the new 16-story Harrisburg University Academic Center planned for the summer of 2007.

S&R Enterprises provides 43 full-time jobs to our region and plans to add 14 more full- time jobs over the next three years.

Steve Burkholder stated, "S & R Enterprises, LLC is excited for the expected future growth of our company.  We are also thrilled to be able to team up with CREDC to make the further development of S & R Enterprises, LLC possible."

HRC/CREDC provided a Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) loan of $316,000 in conjunction with Community Banks financing and other equity contributions. The total project costs were $790,446. The PIDA loan program provides low-interest loans to eligible businesses that commit to creating and/or retaining jobs in Pennsylvania.
