Perry County Business park Houses First Tenant

HARRISBURG, PA (MONDAY, JUNE 18, 2007 ) - The Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC (HRC/CREDC), Holy Spirit Hospital and the Perry County Economic Development Corporation, along with several regional dignitaries, announced today that Holy Spirit Hospital will be the first tenant in the 57-acre Business Park, Perry County Business Campus One, located in Duncannon, Perry County.

Holy Spirit Hospital will be moving their Duncannon Family Health Center from 510 New Bloomfield Road , Duncannon to the new site. Duncannon X-ray and Mammography Center , a laboratory collection site, and outpatient physical therapy services will also be housed in the new facility. The new facility will allow Holy Spirit Hospital to provide patient-centered care in a more efficient manner. :"

"We have been providing medical and diagnostic services to the Duncannon community for more than 25 years," stated Sister Romaine Niemeyer, SCC, president and CEO of Holy Spirit Health System. "We are committed to providing healthcare services in this community and saw an opportunity to upgrade our facilities and technologies and expand our services. The new facility will allow us to provide expanded primary care and laboratory collection services, offer digital imaging technology, including 4D ultrasound, x-ray and mammography, and introduce our physical therapy services to the area."

The Business Park is owned by the Perry County Economic Development Corporation (PCEDC). The Business Park was created to bring businesses and jobs to Perry County . The Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC), the economic development arm of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber, currently serves as an advisor to the PCEDC.

Holy Spirit Health System is a community Catholic health system, providing high-quality, cost-effective health services. The health system's flagship is Holy Spirit Hospital, a 332-bed JCAHO-accredited acute care facility, located at 503 North 21 st Street in Camp Hill. The hospital has more than 550 physicians on its medical staff and offers a comprehensive array of inpatient and outpatient services, including pre- and post-hospital care.
