Murata Business Center Holds Final Two Business Boot Camps

HARRISBURG (September 14, 2007 ) -- The Murata Business Center, the region's leading business incubator, will be holding the final two Business Boot Camp sessions, Wednesday, September 19th, Penn Township Municipal Building, Duncannon, 9am-11am and Wednesday, September 26th, Middletown Elks, 9am-11am. Business Boot Camp is targeted at individuals who always wanted to start a business and are in need of the basic information to do so. It is a spin-off of First Mondays, a cooperative initiative between the Murata Business Center and Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) offering an informal setting where entrepreneurs can come to gain tangible, practical advice from experienced staff on the "ins and outs" of starting their own business. The First Monday Program is held on the first Monday of every month from 9am-11am , at the Murata Business Center, 453 Lincoln St., Carlisle, and HACC's Business Start-up Center, Three Penn Center, 349 Wiconisco St., Suite 237, Harrisburg.

Basic Training at Business Boot Camp includes four marketing push ups, three miles of information of what not to do, two hours of help to pull you up and one drill sergeant to coach you through the process.

The Murata Business Center is located in the Keystone Innovation Zone and the Technology Corridor Enterprise Zone, two state programs that may provide assistance in the form of tax credits, assistance seeking investment or financing help at later stages of business development.
